Geometric Rugs
You can't have rugs without geometry. It lends itself to the technique: warp and weft are a linear construction. Geometric designs feature angular edges and simple shapes—like diamonds, squares, lattices, and stylized animals. These are easier to weave than circular designs, and were what the first weavers began with.
