Washable rugs don't have to look washable. We use washable yarns and creative construction to design rugs with our artisan partners that look good and feel good. How do we do it? Thoughtful materials like plant fibers, natural wool, and recycled polyester are all durable, washable, easy to clean, and easy on the eyes.

Soft washable rug made in India
- Polyester rug with latex backing
- Medium pile: approximately 1/3" thick (9 mm)
- Color palette: bone beige, cream, taupe
- Machine washable, line dry
- Due to its handmade nature a 2% variance in size, color and texture is to be expected.
Care
- When it's time for a deeper clean, machine wash your rug with like colors on delicate with 1 TBSP of gentle detergent. Line dry afterwards.
- For sizes 5x8 and above, we recommend using a 60-lb washing machine (the large kind you find at a laundromat) rather than a home washing machine, which is usually 20-25 lbs. Please call your local laundromat ahead of time to determine if the right washer size is available.
- For sizes 9' x 12' and above, spot or dry clean.
- Be sure to wash rugs according to their recommended washing machine size capacity. Please note: failure to adhere to size recommendations could result in damage to your machine.
- If your rug is heavily soiled, or if it's tough to find a laundromat, dry cleaning is recommended
- A slight shrinkage of up to 2% can be expected for all washable rugs
- Vacuum on low power with a non-rotary (no spinning brush) vacuum or suction attachment only.
- As with most rugs, some light shedding, matting, and fiber or thread breakage may occur over time. For high traffic areas, these effects may occur more quickly and easily.
- Spot cleaning instructions:
- Lightly dampen a paper towel or cloth with clean water
- Gently blot the affected area with your damp towel or cloth to dilute the stain
- If the stain persists, try using an unscented, citrus-free, clear soap to avoid bleaching the textile.
- Repeat this process until the stain is removed

The Collection
Thick and cozy, our washable Digi collection plays with a range of tones, color values, and diffuse patterns to create eye-catching movement. Digi's ultra-soft pile is machine-tufted and its flexible rubberized backing makes it easy to fit into a washing machine, and gives it a good grip on your floor.
The Design
Digi's composition resembles the spontaneity and emotion of splatter art—with a modern twist. Rather than flinging, dripping, or throwing paint to create texture and movement, each washable rug is printed with advanced jets that inject color with surgical precision. True to its name, Pixel is composed of an array of tiny scattered squares that create an abstract work of art.
The Material
Unbelievably soft polyester is highly durable, OEKO-TEX certified for safety, and mildew-resistant. These rugs are made with a latex backing that adds built-in traction and makes them highly flexible, so they're easy to squish into your washing machine.
The Maker
Our partner in India has over 15 years of weaving expertise. Prioritizing sustainability, they operate in a USGBC LEED-certified facility and are OEKO-TEX® certified, ensuring safety from yarn to rug.
The Designer
Our in-house, all-star design team collaborates across three different countries. Based in Los Angeles, Istanbul, and Mumbai, they put a lot of thought into each and every collection they design. Starting with the weave itself, they determine material and technique, then create moodboards to capture the look and feel before starting to design. When designs are finalized, they conduct an extensive sampling process, perfecting each style and color before it goes to production.
