The MaterialLimoges porcelain is named for the location of its production in Limoges, Frances, where it’s been produced since the late 18th century. A type of hard-paste or true porcelain, it was originally developed in China around the 7th or 8th century. Considered some of the finest hard porcelain in the world, it’s fired at extremely high temperatures multiple times for durability, which is especially important in the fabrication of elegant and thin ceramics.
