Subtle, sophisticated, and soft: what more could you want in a rug? In the Halo Rug, Sweater meets Rock Star to create a perfect hybrid. Its ground is an angel-soft hand-carded wool: the ultimate in quiet luxury. Hand-carding requires skill and attention, and we use a kilim-style weave to show off the yarn's natural texture. A blend of New Zealand wool and European wool creates a natural abrash effect from cream to beige to brown. The touch of color comes in from its cotton warp, shining through the wool weft around the edges and fringe, like a frame or a halo.
About our Swatch ProgramWe've made swatches of some of our bestselling rugs so you can understand their texture and color up-close. Swatches cost $25 and shipping is free, as are returns. If you return your swatch to us, we'll re-use it for the next customer to prevent waste.
